What personal data are you processing about me?

If you are interested in being included in our Candidate Pool and provide us with information for this purpose (e.g. using the appropriate form on our website, while talking to us, by e-mail or otherwise), we will process the information provided by you.

In addition, we may independently collect information about possible candidates from public (e.g. company websites, LinkedIn, Xing, etc.) and non-public sources (e.g. educational institutions, business contacts, professional associations, former employers and colleagues, professional business information providers, etc.). This usually includes information such as name, contact details, current and previous job profiles and employers, professional qualifications, interests, nationality, references, etc.

When you visit our website, we also collect information automatically provided by your device (such as device type, browser, etc.). These are not combined with other information actively provided by you. Since we process automatically provided information only in aggregated format, it does not constitute personal data. You can read how we process such information below under "Do you use cookies?"

Do I need to provide you with my personal data?

No, you do not have to provide us with any personal information about yourself. Of course, the more relevant information we have about you, the easier it is for us to determine your suitability for a position, but what and how much information you give us is up to you.

For what purpose do you process my personal data?

We process your personal data in order to determine whether you are suitable for positions which we have been or will be commissioned to fill.

If desired, we can use your personal data to send you newsletters and event information.

In addition, we process personal data in order to comply with legal obligations (e.g. obligation to keep books of account) and court or official orders or to enforce legal claims.

On what legal basis do you do this?

Personal data that you have made available to us and special categories of personal data are only processed on the basis of your consent.

For independently collected personal data, we rely on our legitimate interest in providing our recruitment services.

For how long do you process my personal data?

We process information provided by you only until you withdraw your consent and independently collected information only until you object to our doing so.

Beyond that, personal data will no longer be processed unless this is required by law, ordered by court order or official order, or required to enforce legal claims.

With whom do you share my personal data?

Personal data will be stored by us and by our carefully selected IT service providers in Switzerland and will only be passed on to our clients with your consent in the individual case. How the personal data is processed by the client after such disclosure is the responsibility of each client and beyond our control.

Unless otherwise stated, this client or the addressee designated by him may also be located in a country that has a different level of data protection than the country in which you are located or even in a country which, in the opinion of Switzerland or the EU/EEA, does not have adequate data protection, such as the USA. With your consent to the transfer to a specific client, you also consent to the transfer of your personal data to such countries.

Otherwise, we will not disclose personal data unless required to do so by law, court order, governmental order, or legal process, restructuring, or acquisition.

Do you use cookies?

Yes, we use cookies on our website. Cookies are text files that are stored on your device to collect information about your use of our website. They enable us to optimize our website and provide you with a more enjoyable user experience. For example, we use cookies to create statistical evaluations of the use of our website (content visited, length of visit, source, i.e. previously visited page, etc.) or to store your language preferences. In some cases, we also use services from third parties (such as Google Analytics or similar services) for this purpose. For this purpose, aggregated information is used which does not permit identification of the individual user. The third party provider (e.g. Google) may, however, track your use, combine it with data from other websites and use such data collections for its own purposes. Depending on the purpose, such third parties may also be able to identify you based on such data. The processing of personal data by these third-party providers is governed by their respective data protection policies.

Can I decline the use of cookies?

Yes, you can disable the use of cookies in your browser. In this case, certain parts of our website or services may not be fully functional.

What rights do I have with regard to my personal data?

Under the applicable data protection legislation, you have the right to request information about your personal data and to have it corrected or deleted. If our processing is based on your consent, you also have the right to withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future. You may also have the right to demand that we restrict our processing of your personal data, give you the data or generally object to our processing. To exercise such rights, please write to the contact address above.

If you do not agree with the manner in which we process your personal data or otherwise have a data protection concern, please contact us at our contact address above. You also have the option of contacting the relevant data protection authority with your request. The competent data protection authority in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (www.edoeb.admin.ch).
